Cold Air Intake System, with K&N Filter
Looking to get better performance and a little better mileage by getting more intake

After researching the effectiveness of several after market cold air intake filter systems, I found that all I really needed to do was cut out the front of my stock air box, and install a K&N Filter. Once I got this done, I could tell a difference in the way the truck accelerates, plus the fuel mileage is slightly better also. Here's a shot of the cut-out

Here's another shot of the cutout. This setup draws colder air than some of the after market cold air intake filter systems available out there, plus it only costs a little time to do the cut-out. Overall, this setup performs better than systems costing around $200 or more.
